How can I connect MSSQL with Management Studio Express ?

At PremiumReseller, we provide web admin interface as well as ability to use Management Studio Express to connect MSSQL database from your PC

Instruction to connect to SQL2005 or SQL2008 remotely from your computer

+ Open SQL Server Management Studio Express

+ Fill in Server Name as: "server-ip\SQL2005,sql-port" or "server-ip,sql-port" for default instance

Connection information including SQL port is provided in Dotnetpanel, after you login select Hosting space -> View Space Summary.

+ Use authentication method: SQL Server authentication

+ Login and password is MSSQL user you created in control panel

Server-IP-address is provided in the welcome email.

You can also ping your domain name to retrieve server-ip-address.

In DotNetPanel, you can check database connection details (server IP and port) by going to Hosting Space -> View Space Summary
