403 Forbidden, Site is not visible

Sometimes, you can see a “Forbidden” Message while accessing your website.

It may happen for the following 3 reasons:

STEP 1: There is no index.html file/ any web content in your hosting’s public_html. the index.html file name will be and shall be index.html, not index2.html/index.html1.

STEP 2: If you have web content but you are not getting your site, you may rename your .htaccess file and try to load the website again. You can get the .htaccess file in the public_html, For that, you can log in with FTP “FileZilla” client software or make dot files visible from “File Manager” settings option.

STEP 3: You can select your.htaccess and rename it

STEP 4. If the above option is not working, do check your “error_log” under “public_html” and consult with your web developer.

Hope this will help you.
